Hotel policies and information

How to make a hotel reservation

Hotel reservations can be made during the MAX registration process until April 17, 2013. You must be registered for MAX 2013 in order to take advantage of the negotiated discounted hotel rates, which are on a first-come, first-served basis. Do not contact hotels directly; negotiated rates can be obtained only through the MAX registration process.

If you have already registered for MAX and would like to book your hotel reservation, you may log back in to your MAX account at any time by using the username and password you created during registration.

Hotel cancellation policy

The credit card you submit when you book your hotel reservation will be used to guarantee the room, and some hotels may charge the first night's room charge as a deposit prior to arrival (the charge may appear on or around April 18, 2013). MAX accepts American Express, MasterCard, or Visa. When checking in at your selected hotel, you will be required to present a credit card for your hotel charges. It is not recommended that you use a debit card for your hotel charges. If you do not have the credit card in your possession, you will need to fill out a hotel credit card authorization form ahead of your arrival. Send an email to the MAX Housing Team at adobemax@gpjreg.com for help with this requirement.

Reservations must be canceled at least 72 hours before your scheduled check-in date to avoid a penalty equal to one night's room and tax. If the hotel policy is to charge a first night's room deposit, your credit card will be refunded if you cancel at least 72 hours before your check-in date. If you cancel within the 72-hour period, your room deposit will be forfeited.

Failure to show up on your scheduled arrival date

If you do not cancel your hotel reservation and you do not check in on the scheduled arrival date, you will be charged for one night plus tax to the credit card on file. If a room deposit was charged, the amount will be forfeited.

Checking in and out

All hotels have a check-in time of 3pm and a check-out time of noon.

Taxes

Each hotel has an occupancy tax that will be added to the reservation rate per room per night. For specific rates, refer to each individual hotel.

All city and state taxes are subject to change at any time.

Hotel airport shuttles

Transportation from any of the Southern California airports, such as Los Angeles International Airport, Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, John Wayne Airport in Orange County, Ontario International Airport, or Long Beach Airport, is at each individual's expense and is not included in the MAX conference registration fees. None of the designated MAX 2013 hotels provides airport shuttle transportation to or from these airports.
