The MAX 2008 full pass registration package includes:

  • Continental breakfast: Tuesday, Wednesday, November 18 - 19, 2008
  • Lunch: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, November 17 - 19, 2008
  • Full access to all keynotes, breakout sessions, and evening activities on Sunday - Wednesday, November 16 - 19
  • Does not include access to the pre-event labs, which must be purchased separately from the Event Pass

NOTE: All Pre-event labs, which are offered as a supplement to the standard event schedule, are priced in addition to your registration fee. Adobe reserves the right and discretion to verify your relationship with Adobe and to determine if your attendance is appropriate.

Registered MAX Attendees are permitted to register a guest for a fee based on the above pricing categories. Registered guests are permitted to attend the following evening activities:

  • Welcome Reception: Sunday, November 16, 2008
  • Sponsor Reception: Monday, November 17, 2008
  • Event Party: Tuesday, November 18, 2008

The above events are not available for individual purchase.

Guest passes will be available for a fee throughout registration and during the event. Each guest pass holder must be accompanied by a paid MAX 2008 registration holder. The guest pass does not include access to any sessions, continental breakfasts or lunches, or any other activities that are reserved for attendees with full event passes.

One-day pass

Access to one day of sessions on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday (November 17, 18, or 19), plus access to the general session, the Community Pavilion, and any morning, afternoon or evening functions for the selected day.

Group discount

The MAX 2008 three or more group discount program offers special savings when you register a group from your company. When three or more full conference event passes are ordered, your registration price per pass is only $1,095.00.

Terms & Conditions for this exciting promotion apply:

  • This offer cannot be combined with any other offer, package or registration codes.
  • The three or more group discount must be paid for in full via credit card. You may choose to pay with the same credit card for the multiple registration fees or utilize individual credit cards for each transaction. Payment by purchase order/check or wire transfers is not acceptable.
  • The three or more group discount applies only to the full conference pass. Qualifying passes must be purchased from the same organization with the same email suffix, i.e. @max.adobe.com.
  • If there are not three qualifying members from your organization registered by Friday, October 31, 2008, the credit card utilized for the individual registrations in the three or more group discount will be charged the difference between a full conference event pass and the group discount pass of $1,095.00, based on the date of your registration.

Government, education, and nonprofit discount

A special discount is available to employees of federal, state, or local government entities, public and private educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations. All attendees registering with this discount will be required to show their employer-issued government ID or proof of education or nonprofit status upon checking in. Adobe may, at its sole discretion, charge the standard fee(s) to anyone unable to satisfy proof of employment requirements to Adobe's satisfaction. Additional discounts do not apply.

MAX 2008 event fees are in US dollars and can be paid using one of the following methods:

Credit card

Payment by credit card is accepted for the duration of online registration and during onsite registration in San Francisco. We accept American Express, MasterCard, and Visa.

Purchase order number/check

Payment by purchase order number/check is only accepted until October 24, 2008. During registration, if purchase order number/check is selected as the payment method, the registrant will be served an agreement policy regarding their honorable intention of attending the MAX 2008 event. The cancellation penalties will apply should the registrant choose to cancel his/her attendance without payment.

Receipt of payment must be received at the MAX Registration Center by Friday, October 31, 2008. Payment received after October 31 will be subject to the increased onsite registration fee of $1,695 and any additional registration fees for the pre-event labs and/or guest passes. An automated invoice for payment will be included with your registration confirmation.

Wire transfer

Payment by wire transfer is only accepted until October 24, 2008. During registration, if wire transfer is selected as the payment method, the registrant will be served an agreement policy regarding their honorable intention of attending the MAX 2008 event. The cancellation penalties will apply should the registrant choose to cancel his/her attendance without payment.

The wire transfer must be received at the MAX 2008 banking institution by Friday, October 31, 2008. Payment received after October 31 will be subject to the increased onsite registration fee of $1,695 and any additional registration fees for the pre-event labs and/or the guest passes. Specific banking instructions will be included in an automated invoice for payment with your registration confirmation.

Registration is now open. To register for MAX 2008 and take advantage of online pricing discounts, complete the online registration form and submit payment by October 31, 2008.

During registration, you will be asked to create a MAX 2008 username and password. This will provide access to your registration record, including hotel reservations and personal session schedule, so you can make updates as needed.

Onsite registration

Registration at the event site will begin on Sunday, November 16, 2008, at 7am at both Moscone West and the San Francisco Marriott. The onsite registration fee is payable only by credit card. We accept American Express, MasterCard, and Visa.

Please note that availability in Pre-event labs may already be sold-out by the time onsite registration begins, so register early!

Pass pick-up

For guests who have registered for pre-event labs held on Sunday, November 16, your pass and event materials will be at the MAX Registration desk, located on the Yerba Buena level at the San Francisco Marriott. All pre-event labs and the meals/breaks associated with the Sunday labs will be held at the San Francisco Marriott location.

MAX 2008 event passes will be available for pick-up onsite at the registration area at Moscone West on the first floor during designated registration hours (below). All related event materials will be available for pick-up in the registration area once you have checked in. A government-issued photo ID, such as your driver's license or passport, will be required to activate your pass and to collect your MAX 2008 event materials. Your name badge pass is required for admission to all session events and activities. A fee will be charged for any replacement pass printed.

MAX 2008 Payment Policy:

Payment by purchase order/check or wire transfer must be made by Friday, October 31, 2008. Payment received after October 31 will be subject to the increased on-site registration fees that are applicable to each individual's registration pass choices, with the exception of the ADIM + Event Pass. Specific instructions and an automated invoice will be provided in the registration process and confirmation email. Upon the selection of the payment type of purchase order/check or wire transfer, the registrant will be served an agreement policy regarding their intention of attending the MAX 2008 conference. The cancellation penalties will apply should the registrant choose to cancel his/her attendance without payment.

MAX 2008 Cancellation Policy:

Registration cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to questions@max.adobe.com and received by Adobe on or before October 31, 2008, to receive a partial refund. The refund amount will equal the fees paid by registrant minus administrative fees for each pass as specified below.

  • Event pass, one-day pass, two-day pass: $400 administrative fee
  • Pre-event lab pass: $200 administrative fee
  • Pre-event session pass: $50 administrative fee
  • Guest Pass or Exhibits-Only: $50 administrative fee

Attendees who fail to attend the event are ineligible for a refund. Cancellation requests received by Adobe after October 31, 2008, are ineligible for a refund.

MAX 2008 Substitution Policy:

Attendee substitutions from within the same company may be made at any time but must be made in writing. Substituting registration status to an individual outside of your company will not be granted. To substitute attendees, please send an email to questions@max.adobe.com. Substitutions are not confirmed until you receive written approval from the MAX 2008 Planning Team.
