How to Get Your Hands on Thermo
As Doug mentioned, we're going to be doing another round of the Introduction to Thermo and the Next Generation of Flex session at MAX. The first one kept selling out even after moving it to a bigger and bigger room so we decided to do another one in the 5:00 - 6:00 slot. So what's the big deal?
At MAX we're going to be doing an early preview release of Thermo. We'll be doing an Adobe Labs release soon, but for the time being going to MAX is the only way to get your hands on Thermo. If you want to get the bits before anyone else, you'll have to attend one of those two Intro to Thermo sessions. We have DVDs we're going to be giving out during those sessions after walking you through the preview build. Otherwise if you're going to MAX you'll have to get the DVDs on the second day.
Note: The preview version for MAX is going to be Mac only. Windows users, don't despair, we'll have something for you soon. If you want it sooner, feel free to drop me an email at ryan@adobe.com.
We're also going to be announcing the new name for Thermo at MAX, so stay tuned!

I'm just kickin' myself for not going to MAX!!! Now I'm going to check Adobe Labs EVERY DAY.
What about the "Hands on With Thermo" lab? If we just go to one of those, can we get a review release copy there? (and would that not be necessary to do the lab?)
@joeflash, I'm not entirely sure if we've figured out how we're going to do the labs. I think if you go you'll be safe and have a DVD or the bits already installed on the machine.

Thanks Ryan. I want to go to both the CoCoMo and the RTMFP sessions, which are right when the two Thermo sessions are, so getting a copy at the Thermo lab Wed. morning would work out superb.
dang. As if not getting to go and drink beer with Ryan weren't bad enough. Now missing out on the Thermo pre-release. :(
